Based in Swindon, Glen is one of the UK’s top up and coming young Commercial anglers, and a name you will be seeing a lot of in the future! As a junior he won most of the serious local events in his area plus some big national events including; the individual three county's championship match on the Kennett and Avon canal; Individual Junior Team National Champion on the Shropshire union canal (30 teams); the following year he also finished 4th overall on the river Nene.
At club level Glen joined a local club with his Dad and after the first year went on to win the club title 3 years running, and in the final year with them he framed in all 15 matches! That signalled him being ready to jump onto the open match scene and also opened new doors as he was also asked to fish for the formidable Swindon Talisman in the Angling Times winter league. Glen quickly made the first team after a couple of seasons learning the ropes from some top anglers. In that time the team managed to qualify for the Angling Times all winner's final twice, on both occasions Glen won hi section.
Glen also qualified for the Garbolino club angler of the year first attempt at Coleman’s Cottage. He now has numerous open match wins on local venues and venues in the Midlands.
He qualified for the prestigious Barston Masters three years in a row and became Barston Masters champion for 2016. He recently finished second overall in the manor Farm individual winter league 2017, had two top ten finishes in Fishomania qualifiers and also top ten in a Maver Match This qualifiers. Glen spends a lot of his time at Barston, Hill View and Manor Farm and is focussing on commercial fishing with a view to qualifying for one of the big finals in the near future.
