George Organ

George started fishing at the age of 8. He soon progressed to junior match fishing in and around Tewkesbury on the Rivers Avon and Severn. He won the Knockout Cup at this time. When at Secondary School he started fishing matches around Newent Gloucestershire, these he won on numerous occasions. Alongside the junior matches he started fishing Senior Matches, where again he would frame on a regular basis. George was picked to fish for his school National Team, he fished three times and finished second in his section on two occasions and fourth overall as part of a Gold winning Team.

At sixteen George was selected to fish for the England Under 18/20 Squad. Subsequently he was selected for the England Team for the next five years. This involved fishing in many different countries and using varies methods. George won three Team medals and two Individual medals. During his teens, although involved in the England set-up George started to fish open matches on Local Venues like Hill View and Manor Farm. Where he has won numerous matches. George qualified for the British pole championships 2017 Last year George won five open matches in a row at Hill View/Manor Farm. His best winning match weight to date was at a Hill View open (2018) where he weighed 364lb. He was also had many 200lb winning match weights
